FastPoint PenDirectTM
Touchscreens use capacitive technology with optional
pen input, allowing for a finger touch and/or a
touch with a connected stylus. This functionality is
well suited for FastPoint customers who have used
light pens in the past and have a desire to use
thinner, more energy efficient LCD monitors. By
configuring the driver to only sense the pen input,
the user can rest their palm against the screen and
use the pen to draw and select options on the
screen.

Touchscreens are also used for signature-capture
applications, fine-positioning and precision
selection requirements as well as free-hand drawing.

Touchscreen is recommended when the requirement is
for an accurate and easy input device.
